A rainy day in Okinawa led me into a small cafe, the kind where the windows fog slightly and time moves a bit slower. I ordered a latte hoping for warmth, and the barista suprised me with a little cat drawn in the foam-simple, playful, and unexpectedly heart-lifting. Outside, the sky was grey, but somehow this tiny cup felt like sunshine. It’s funny how small gestures from strangers can brighten a day more than we expect. Sometimes happiness arrives quietly, one creamy cat-latte at a time.
